 Derwood Agricultural Center/Mid-Atlantic Display Garden, Derwood, MD Setup begins at 7:00 a.m. Entries 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Judging 11:00 a.m.– 12:15 p.m. Open to public 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Picnic 1:00 p.m. Pot Luck Picnic. Bring your favorite dish!

  DIRECTIONS AND CONTACT INFORMATION

Directions to Derwood Agricultural Center/Mid-Atlantic Display Garden:

Take 270 North to Exit 9A and 370, Metro Station. Proceed 2 miles to Shady Grove Rd. East. Go 1.4 miles on Shady Grove Rd. Turn right on Muncaster Mill Rd. At first light make a left on Muncaster Rd. Go 1.3 miles. On your left will be stone columns and a sign to Farm Park. Proceed to red silo. Up on the hill is the dahlia garden.

Directions to Brookside Gardens:

From the Beltway (495) take Georgia Ave North. Go about three miles and turn right at Randolph Rd. In about a 1/2 mile, turn right on Glen Allan Ave. Another half mile takes you to Brookside Gardens, which is part of Wheaton Regional park.

 Directions to Bethesda Library:

(Gaithersburg/Rockville area ) South on I-270. Take left fork (Wisconsin Ave./Silver Spring) to Old Georgetown Rd exit. South on Old Georgetown Rd past Beltway, Cedar Lane Firehouse, NIH, Suburban Hospital to 5-way intersection where Wilson Lane, St. Elmo and Arlington Rd converge. Right on Arlington Road Library is 3 blocks down on the right.

(Virginia) Take I-495 across the American Legion Bridge at Cabin John to the River Rd exit. Turn right on River Rd to left on Goldsboro Rd. Turn slight right onto Bradley Blvd. Turn left Arlington Rd. Library is on the left adjacent to Caroline Freedland Park.

 Directions Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium:

Take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) toward Towson. Take I-83 North (toward York, PA). Take the second exit from I-83, Padonia Rd., to the right (east). Take the first right, onto York Rd. Turn right at the entry gate. Ask for directions to the Horticultural Building for the Home Arts exhibits
